Ole Henrik Nygaard grew up listening to the music revolution in London by The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, (US), Jeff Beck, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many others. British artists transformed american blues and rock´n roll into a whole new universe of soundscapes, fuelled by the Power of London.
He started out taking organ lessons at the age of 7, and guitar lessons at 14. The music teacher adviced his father when purchasing the first acoustic guitar for his son, a Suzuki. The main guitars today are a Martin OM-21 Special, a Fender Stratocaster and a Gibson les Paul (all made in the US).
He started out recording with a tape recorder in the 80ies, then Atari Midi computers in the 90ies, and Steinberg Cubase studio programme with soft synths in 2001. Now he is using Pro Tools. This was another important revolution, from the big and expensive studios to homemade music, with plenty of time to try and fail.
Then we got Spotify and indie record companies as OxxToGo, the third revolution, which brought independant distribution to all the music lovers on the planet.
